What happens to what you type
Nothing leaves your browser. Text conversion, Morse audio playback and MP3 export all run locally on your device using standard browser APIs — the site has no conversion server, and nothing you type or paste is uploaded, logged or stored anywhere. Share links carry your text inside the URL fragment itself; we do not store those URLs.
Local storage
Your player settings, learning progress and practice scores are saved in your own browser (localStorage keys such as morse-learn-progress and morse-practice-stats). They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them completely. We have no access to them.
Analytics
This site measures aggregate traffic with Google Analytics 4 — page views, referrers, coarse geography. The data is used only to understand which tools are useful and is never linked to the text you convert. You can opt out with any standard ad blocker or your browser’s tracking protections.
Hosting and logs
The site is served by Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare keeps standard, short-lived request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention, under Cloudflare’s own privacy terms. We do not augment or export those logs.
No accounts, no payments
There is no sign-up, no login and no payment processing, so there is no account data to breach. The site is free and the tools run without identifying you in any way.
Terms of use
MyMorseCode is provided free of charge, as is, without warranty of any kind. The Morse code timings follow the ITU-R M.1677 standard, but the site is a learning and reference tool — do not rely on it for safety-of-life signaling. Links to third-party sites (such as Wikipedia) are for reference and are governed by their own policies.
